About Echo

Echo is an inspiring female sailor, life explorer and dream pursuer who embarked on her ocean journey in middle age. Born and raised living a regular and peaceful life, she had never imagined sailing across the vast ocean in her early years.

For a long time, she was trapped in trivial daily routines, heavy life responsibilities and inner confusion, gradually feeling that her life was drifting away without real warmth and direction.

The loss of her beloved father became a turning point in her life. Deep sorrow made her deeply reflect on the true meaning of life. She realized that time waits for no one, and people should not spend their whole lives living for others and ignoring their own inner desires.

In her forties, when most people choose to seek stability and comfort, Echo made a bold and unexpected decision — to set sail and chase the distant sea.

Without any sailing foundation or maritime family background, she started everything from scratch. She devoted herself to professional sailing training, endured severe seasickness, learned complicated navigation knowledge, practiced night watch duties, and experienced countless failures and difficult repairs at sea.

She overcame inner fear, physical exhaustion and all kinds of hardships, and gradually grew from a complete beginner into a calm and capable professional sailor.

Firm in her faith and brave enough to break age stereotypes, Echo finally completed all preparations and officially launched the five-year Mulan Polar Sailing Expedition.

Riding on her sturdy sailboat Mulan, she heads for the remote and magnificent polar seas, passing through countless islands, rough sea areas and icy waters.

She travels slowly following the rhythm of nature, facing unpredictable storms and lonely long voyages calmly.

To Echo, sailing is far more than a hobby or an adventure. It is a way to reshape herself and rebuild her life from the inside out. She walks away from the noisy secular world, returns to the most simple state of life, and learns to be persistent, independent and peaceful on the sea.

She always believes that dreams have no age boundary, and it is never too late to start over.

With firm courage and sincere heart, Echo keeps moving towards unknown horizons, using her real voyage story to encourage every ordinary person who is lost in life, and interprets the most beautiful posture of life: dare to break the shackles, live sincerely, and sail bravely toward the life you truly yearn for.
